A friend of mine just ordered the terrarium from PFT and it comes with a nep. I was just wondering if the nep would be ok in the fishbowl type terrarium because as far as I know it doesnt have any drainage?
The important thing is to not saturate the soil. Terrariums are commonly started with a layer of coarse material at the bottom. Something like gravel or isolite. That's covered by mesh or something to keep the soil from slumping into the open material, wicking up water and getting saturated. But people do without that all the time. The terrarium should come with instructions.
