From your hosting site:
1) Right click on the picture
2) Click on Properties
3) Right click the URL
4) Click Select All to highlight the URL
5) Right click the highlighted URL
6) Click Copy
7) Click Okay
8) Go to Forum or PM and click the Image tab
9) Where it has a highlighted http, right click
10) Click Paste
11) Click Okay
12) The the URL will appear at the bottom, bracketed by: [image URL[/image]
13) You can click the preview tab to test before posting or sending. If you see the picture, it worked. On a PM, if it didn't, a message will appear, telling you that it was invalid, with an example of what is and isn't valid.

Welcome to your new hosting sites!

Petflytrap.com

cp.forums.com

Both are used by TF people. Photobucket also has a site and does re-sizing for you, although I struggled to figure them out. But you are more computer literate than me!

Resizing- what program do you use to view your images? I'm sure somebody could supply an image resizing program, or you could just look for one on google.

Hosting- I think Jim's got you covered on that one.

resizing program:

http://www.irfanview.com

its free, and very usefull!
remember to REname the image after you resize with a DIFFERENT name!
if you original image is DCP00234.jpg,
resize it, then name the new one DCP00234-smaller.jpg
or whatever name you want..
but if you just save the smaller image *without* renaming it,
you basically made your ORIGINAL image smaller, and your original full-size image is lost forever..and you might want the big one again for something!

640 pixels wide is the best size for posting in the forums.
