I just bough tmy wife a rose at HEB (local grocery chain) and it has normal foliage, but the petals are awesome. From stem to tip of the petal is is a dark red, striated with an even darker red, it has the effect of looking like crushed red velvet. It is the first rose I ever thought looked cool.

Anyone know what the cultivar name is?

striated? I don't know what that means but there are ALOT of cultivars with multi-tonals of burgundy, wine, maroon, blood, etc.....

Do you know what kind of rose it is? (hybrid Tea, English, Floribunda, etc...)

striated is the term used when a colour gradually blends into a darker or lighter version of itself
