I have a perfect spot in the yard for a greenhouse where I plan on growing mostly lowland Nepenthes. The problem is during the winter it wouldn't recieve a lot of light because of neighboring trees. Maybe 2 or 3 hours of direct light. During most of the year it would recieve full sun. I figured I could use some kind of supplemental light during that time. Does anyone do this?

1.) What kind of lighting would you use?

2.) What should I expect to pay to power the lights?

3.) Do lowland Nepenthes need a lot of light during winter?

Any information would be great. Thanks!
