sphagnum moss

Composter
Back ago, i collected several planting materials including peatmoss and sphagnum moss. I used to use sphagnum moss for CPs (carnivorious plants), but was woundering about its use in the regular garden as i hear it is high in acidity.. hence, not good for regular garden? anyways, the soil I'm mixing consists of a Peat, regular soil, vermiculite and sand. Worth putting sphagnum in the mix? . . . making a garden of different plants in my backyard

Peat is just decomposed sphagnum.
Is it worth adding? I'm my opinion, no. There are less expensive things you could use to accomplish (I'm assuming you are considering it for water retention.) the same things.

yeah, i want my dirt to be able to hold lots of moisture , air and just good and healthy
