Low Giant VFT is truely a giant, i absolutely love this cultivar...had a trap last year at about 1.89inches, largest this year was just over 1.5

Nice, Kris. :D

I really need to get more VFTs, and need to get way farther into Sarracenia.

Very nice bogs and plants.

I especially like the leuco x oreo, nice coloration and shape to it! Is it just me, or is that baby cross teeth making a flower... ambitious little guy :D Next year, no more pots, i will be doing like this, and making a bunch of mini bogs.. That typical vft definately is not typical, in the definition sense, it's quite unique! Good growing :)

LOL! Your deck looks a lot like my porch! Good growin'!

nah its not a flower bloke, its just a forming leaf shot at an awkward angle...

Looking great. :) Too bad it's almost time for dormancy for you. :/

Good to hear that the H. minor came back.

SK, I've been considering getting bogs like those - how do you repot? Seems like you would have to turn the whole thing upside down, which would be dangerous, or dig them out, which would risk breaking roots. Also, how do you control the water level? Do you just eyeball it, or did you drill a drainage hole?

i dig them out adrian, but i go far enough around the plant and lightly tug it until it slides out then i proceed by shaking off the media and lightly breaking away the excess media that hangs on. watering, i just flood them since they are drained and the water soaks down pretty quick.
