Hey guys I thought some of you might like to see a quick video walk through of my newly completed greenhouse. It was finally warm enough here in Colorado Springs to start moving a few test plants in, almost all the plants you see were moved in with in the last week.
The greenhouse is 48' x 20' and 13' high with peninsular benches. Right now I heat the greenhouse to 55F at night and cool it at 90F in the day. I have a 50 nozzle, 2 GPH misting system running on cycles, on for 2min 15sec and off for 40min, then completely shuts off after sunset. The misting system cover 2/3 of the GH the other 1/3 does not get any mist. I'm using a 60% Aluminet shade cloth that covers that same 2/3 that get misted.
I use a 150,000 BTU high efficiency natural gas furnace which is powerful enough to keep the internal temperature at 55F even it the out side drops to -30. The utilities bill has been running $150 a month but should be slightly less once I start filling it and get a little more residual heat.
