Last summer's heat and drought was unkind to the plants and the winter dropped below zero. Didn't seem to faze their spring awakening though.
Took these shots with my phone after some extensive weeding. I wish the Sarracenias were redder but in this location, they only get 12 PM to sunset so we'll see as the year progresses. Big blue bog was constructed with Canadian peat moss, sand, and lots of pine needles. Please take a peek.
