Figure I'll show of my homebuilt monster and whats growing in it!
Here is the tank itself. It's built out of quarter inch lumber and plexiglass wrapped in mylar foil. The top is another piece of plexiglass resting on nails to provide veltilation. It is 24 in X 36 in X 12 in. It has worked very well for me, and the best part is it costs less than $30!
Here is a list of what is in it...
Pinguicula
P. moranensis "J"
P. laueana
Nepenthes
N. Muluensis x Lowii
N. mikei
Drosera
D. Capensis ‘alba’
D. Capensis ‘normal’
D. nitidula x pulchella
D. roseana
D. adelae
D. natalensis
Utricularia
U. sandersonii
U. bisquamata
U. unknown
And here are the choicest photos!
P. laueana
P. moranensis "J" just waking up...
Here is my pot of D. Capensis
A very happy D. nitidula x pulchella
with a closeup
finally a D. natalensis thrown in for fun
All the photos I have for now, hope to post some more up soon,
