Here are the 2 front bogs desperately waiting for spring. I've already done a ton of trimming, the bogs are PACKED with Sarracenia. I'll add more pics monthly as the season continues.

Man that bog is going to look fantastic when the warm weather kicks in! :0o:
Can't wait to see it wake up.

out front where everyone can see, very nice :-D. im sure it catches a lot of eyes.

Yeah, it's a neighborhood hit.

Nice! Is that a college campus?

Right out front? Ever have problems with theft?

Hmm that's a good idea and i don't think i would have any problems with theft since i live out in the country in the woods it takes me over 5 min. to walk to get the mail. so i might try that if my parents let me. ")

That is very nice, it would very cool to be walking down the sidewalk and see a flower bed filled with some very unique plants. Please post up more photos as everything starts to bloom.

I wouldn't worry about theft too much guys, nobody really wants the repercussions of what comes from that. Others have tried, feel free if you think you got the grapes !

nice... so do you do any mulching in the winter or just let them be?

  • #13
No mulching. I just let nature work.

Man, if you can pull that off in Boston then maybe all hope is not lost for me trying to grow a few of my plants outdoors here in NYC. The problem is that the area I would grow in faces north and is way too shady. Gah. Nice bog, though. Can't wait to see it once those plants wake up and have their morning coffee.
