Looking For a Clear, Temp-Resistant, Plastic Film

I have an indoor grow tent with a small air conditioner inside of it to make sure the plants get cool at night.

However, the tent is opaque, and that's always left me a bit sad as I have to unzip it to look at them.

Right now, I'm looking to acquire a clear plastic sheet that I can replace part of the walls of the grow tent with.

So to summarize what I'm looking for, a clear plastic sheet that is:

1) Quite clear so I can see through it, opacity similar to the one on the right here: http://www.garden4less.co.uk/prodimages/greenhouse/clear-plastic-mini-greenhouse.jpg

2) Thick enough such that cool temperature does not completely dissipate

Can anyone recommend something?

Sounds like you need the stuff they cover polytunnels with.
It should be available at any agricultural store.

1/32" Lexan should work for you, as long as you're making windows and not flexible doors.

Take a look at McMaster-Carr - I have a sheet of this PVC on my rack 87875K62. Cut that in half and use 84645A58 to get in and out of it. Maybe that will work?

Hahaha, hilarious. McMaster-Carr has everything! Great tip.

I tell you what... Most of the gear in my rack came from that big yellow book!

Thanks for the word folks! I've got a list of options I'm going to try now!
