Thanks everyone. The plants all seem to be responding well to the higher light levels. I did lose a couple of plants when I returned from vacation last week, but that's something I've come to expect whenever I go out of town for an extended period.

which xTM did you post?

and is there a little breathing room in there with all the recent subtractions? prob can hardly tell anything was removed

That's the BE clone 2. If you click on the pictures, I've written descriptions that can be read on flickr. It would actually be nice if those were included in these links.

Yeah, there is actually quite a bit more space now, although that doesn't say much when you consider how quickly some of them are growing. Still a lot more to get rid of, though.

Please do post an update when the Hurreliana pops its pitcher open!

I had actually planned on posting a picture of the opened pitcher, but since that photo is of an unrooted cutting, the pitcher lost its color very quickly upon opening, before I could capture a quick photo. On the bright side, it's growing well and appears to have rooted, so it will be coming out of the acclimation tank pretty soon - with a new pitcher developing as we speak.

A hurreliana? Let me know when you want to get rid of it. :-O

I'll put you in my will ;)

Truely amazing collection! A nice relaxing way to beat the heat inside looking at your thread, although hampering the housework. I hope this heat wave passes soon.

It's a tad oppressive, isn't it? Ugh.
Question for you, Mat: where did you get your eymae?!? Please tell me it was more "local" that Wistuba.

Very local: domestic source. I'll let you know.

What and where are you "getting rid of"? :0o: Do tell.

Sorry, I didn't see this until now. A few horticultural hybrids and plants grown from seed.

Instant fan of rigidifolia. Can't believe I never discovered that nep until now.

Whoa! Very impressive. I have to say you were part of my inspiration for starting the grow rack! Sad to see the rack go, although that grow tent is a serious upgrade. Good for you man! Way more space to expand the collection it seems ;)

I love the edwardsiana...Very beautiful.

Wow! Sensory overload...
Love the eymae, edwardsiana (interesting pitcher color), and squatty macro. The white box treatment really makes the plants stand out.
Is your leonardoi from AW? It's got some size on it.

Greenhouse next! Don't be in denial ;) everything looks magnificent.

The first post with the new tent is on the previous page (43). I just noticed it was left behind.

Thanks, Rad. Not to discount the rack (it was great), but when all is well, these plants grow. I don't think I would have made the switch if it wasn't for the spatial constraints. Some species do appreciate higher humidity than the rack could provide, however.

No, not expanding!

Thanks, Don. The leonardoi is from Wistuba, yes. I got it last Spring, so it hasn't grown that much, really. I think the warmer temperatures will help, though.

haha I wish it were only denial, but they don't allow greenhouses inside the apartments here!

Wow wow wow wowzers

N. leonardoi? N. hurrelliana?? I had not even the faintest clue that the N. hurrelliana had made it into cultivation, much less to maturity!

I'd say you might have the most impressive indoor Nepenthes collection I have seen in a very long time.

Thanks, Peter. Yeah, leonardoi was released by Wistuba last year and I think there are a couple of old hurrelliana clones in cultivation with private collectors. The seeds you sent me have sprouted en masse (save the N. p), so I need to thank you again for that.

What kind of humidification system are your using? I am setting up a similar grow chamber, and am looking at what sort of options I have. Also, how much heat do the t-5 lights generate?
