If you are ever feeling froggy with the peltier when the ambient gets cool enough and you don't need it; perhaps for giggles try using some of that copper tubing if you have any extra and make a coil with it, put it inline with with the input side of the water cooler and interface it with the peltier by making sure the cold side is in direct contact with the coils.
I'm curious if using it to drop your coolant temp would be as efficient as using it to air cool your terrarium. also experiment with attempting to reduce the flow rate as well which will give your coolant more quality time with your heat exchanger.
