I had an idea for putting an effort up to problems like this, so I thought posting it on this thread would be the best idea. Has anyone considered putting up a sign that reads, "Stealing flytraps brings bad luck" ? My friend had a serious problem with people sneaking onto his property and stealing horseshoes from a giant stack of them almost 200 years old. Ever since he put up a sign like that, not a single horseshoe has been stolen since. The signs are pretty easy to make. Fake and real security cameras in obvious places have also proved to work well here in SoCal to prevent people from sneaking on to rancher's farms and stealing hay bales. . .
