Very cool stuff! I skipped out on the EP imports, but I did manage to receive a few plants from Wistuba. I noticed a lack of roots as well, especially on the Heliamphora. Do you think this will be an issue?

They turn out fine and eventually grow in roots if you pot them in live sphag and keep the humidity high. Hamata is actually ok growing without roots at all so a hamata cross might be the same. What a weirdo plant

yeah as thez said they typically do fine as long as they are babied along a bit. every time i have ordered eddies or villosa in the past this has been the case, im sure he is just cranking out as many from culture as possible to try and meet demand. never lost one due to the lack of roots, only from arriving with heat damage.

    Good to know!
I actually just lost my first 2 plants (of recent memory)... Villosa and Macrophylla to root rot. It's been too hot at night and I have been to greedy with the water. I won't make the same mistake again

sad to hear that, overwatering is so easy to do with young plants. i need to remind myself that they can dry out a bit between waterings and be fine but keeping them wet at all times can be far more dangerous.

    Here's some new pics.

Northiana x Bicalcarata is older plant but this is new pitcher. In fact first one in months. Plant made me work for it.

Truncata x Talangensis also older and same story...

Last of my three Neps that made me sweat for past 6 months refusing to pitch or even show signs. But I refused to give up, tried more light, bagging them (think that worked). Here is my Spathulata. I'm patting myself on the back for this one.

All three plant have nice big leaf jumps too. Yay! It's the little things.

    Now, here's two new additions:

A few changes I've made is a little less light as they get a lot of natural light in huge east facing window. I noticed a few of my my plant closest to the window had orange tinged leaves so adjusted my lighting time. Next, adjusted my humidity to 60% with simple humidifier. Not having to water as often, plants seem happier. Happy plants, happy me.
