Check out my new terrarium that I completed the other day. I have taken a picture from the front and at a side angle for your viewing enjoyment
It measures 36" across, 11" wide and 12" tall. Perfect for the tight area I had in mind for it. This terrarium was specially built for my winter-growing drosera (they don't grow very tall).
building material: 3/4 inch plywood with some pine
acrylic, hinges, window bolt from lowe's
putty to seal the inside before terrarium was primered with Kilz.
4' shop light from Fred Meyer with 2 GE Chroma 50 bulbs
I used the information fromNature's Jewels to construct the ventilation system (see side picture). This seems to help. Currently as I type this message the ambient room temp is 75.2F and the terrarium 73.4F.
