Grow lights

Well, my perents MIGHT let me get a growlight for my plants, but they said I HAD to get 1 under 30 dollars. Does anybody have any links where I could ger one for cheap? Or does Lowe's or HD sell them? Also, if HD or Lowe's has them, what type should I get. Help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Look at the thread right below this one entitled "Screw-in compact fluorescent lights". THere is a vendor on ebay who sells 85W CFL bulbs for about $9 each. I've used them for almost a month now and I think they're really good for the price you pay.

P.S.- HD and Lowe's only sell compact fluorescent bulbs up to 42W in the states, and those are all a warm white coloration. Daylight/6500K bulbs in hardware stores are usually only available in 13W.

I got an 18" under counter light from walmart for $15, plus a GE Sunshine bulb for $12 if I remember right.
