can anyone identify this venus? not sure about its name/species.

All VFTs are Dionaea muscipula. As to "cultivar" status, you will have to wait for someone more experienced with them than I to tell you.
 
To my untrained eye, it could be Green or Red Dragon.
 
Or just a "typical" with good color :)

btw is it good to feed the plant?
or would it be better not to feed?
not so sure bout these carnivores.
 
Feeding is not necessary. You can if you it brings you pleasure, though. It will probably catch enough on it's own anyway, depending on how good the seals on your windows are, lol. If it's outside, it will do just fine.

it's not red dragon. The red dragons are spindlier than that. It looks a beauty though. More light will cause it to turn deeper red.

They form the fat leaves in winter, depends on the conditions.
