No pic BUT...

I still need help IDing my nep...
It was sold as a ventricosa however I looked at a ventrata and my "ventricosa" looks like the said ventrata; heres a pic from wikipedia of ventrata: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Pitcher_tendril.jpg
Thats whatmy "ventricosa" looks like but the lid isnt open all the way and is a deeper red. What could my plant be. I would show where it was purchased but that would violate rules...
Thanks in advance!
BA

Looks like ventrata to me......

I'm sure it's probably a ventrata. It is often times mistakenly labeled instead of N. alata or N. ventricosa. If it even somewhat resembles a ventrata then it probably is.

xvart.

ok so the i need to change my grow list then :D ill try to get a pic up asap

young or early basal pitchers on ventricosa often look like ventrata. When its mature (which shouldn't take long) you should be able to tell if its ventricosa because it will have the distinctive "waist."

its about 3" across..when does adult hood come in?
