hamata?

Hi,

I got this little guy today, but it didn't have a label-surprisingly. I thought it may be a hamata from the pitchers. But I can't imagine I would be so lucky given the price and the ignominious corner it was crammed into. It's too small to see any teeth yet if it is, though it does have hairs on the top of the lid. Are there any other neps with hairy lids like that? The other thing that makes me skeptical is that the leaves are a drop wide at the end for hamata leaves. Anyway, I'll leave it up to the experts....

Thanks,

Michael

Most likely a N. ventrata / ventrosica / alata.

If it was a N. hamata, the teeth would be clearly visible on a pitcher that size.

Sorry it's not hamata, young nepenthes tend to have hairs on the top of the pitchers lid but they grow out of that. Except hamata xD

too good to be true. oh well, learned something new though.

thanks!
