Timmy - as youve seen i can be nice to you, and while you think i hate you, i dont, i think your rude, yes.
ok, so your posts here, when it comes to identification, leave it to the people with experience please?
your too new to this hobby to fully go out and give out information for IDs which is 9 times out 10 so far, incorrect, these mistaken IDs given by novice growers are why we have so many mislabeled plants in cultivation now, and mislabeled plants leads to people feeling ripped off in trades or purchases, or even in personal collections if its not what they paid for.
So again, not to bark at you or anything, but leave the identification the VFT experts (which i myself am not, by any means) i feel your "VFT" identification thread, while it could be useful, is more of a problem than it is good. people will try and brand a plant a certain cultivar, when it is NOT that cultivar...
as Clue stated
Several of the cultivars in cultivation, can only be propagated through vegetative means, not through seed or any of the sort. TC, pullings, divisions, etc only.
Dont label the plant as unknown, because it most likely is not a cultivar,
label the plant as Dionaea muscipula and leave it at that, if you feel it produces a constant set of traits unique to the plant, if you feel it necessary, try and find out a way to register it as your own cultivar.
