unknown sundew

Found it growing in a VFT I received earlier this summer.

Could it be burmannii?

Looks like D. burmannii to me as well. Gotta love those snap tentacles!

Yes, I love them too! I hope it flowers before it gets cold.

It should, I had a stray one as well amongst my Sarrs and it just finished it's last flower. Looks like you're right on track!

Yeah looks like my burmanni too...mine's finishing a flower stalk right now but looks like it wants to send up another...also a volunteer, but with a bisquamata plug/mat.

I would opt for Drosera sessilifolia vs D. burmannii based on the tentacles, the deep coloration and the smaller size. This looks a lot like plants I formerly circulated from the Morro do Jamborino in Brazil. This is a very nicely grown sundew!

Thanks for the input!

I tend to grow plants best when I don't know I have them. LOL.
