JA hybrid - Sarracenia lacks ID

Someone familiar with JA plants might know this one, or it cpuld easily be a one off that he wasnt impressed by. I certainly am.

Link to photos.

It has alata, purpurea (or rosea, though I'd lean purp venosa) and flava in it, but beyond that you'd need to be able to trace its pedigree to be able to assign a label.

Interesting!

If you don't mind my asking, what are the telltale signs of alata? I am realising i had pretty much written off alata entirely, and would have forgotten it if asked to name all the species

Red shading under the lid is a first telltale sign; I've never seen another species that develops the "red helmet" trait that alata does. Overall smooth structure, spade or shovel shaped lids also tend to be alata type traits, more so than relatives like the rubra complex.
