Looks like a 2-3" pitcher. How do you get the seeds of this plant to germinate?
 
What do seed germination have to do with the ID?

Hi Julian, I'm not terribly familar with N. mirabilis, but judging by the peristome and certainly the striking coloration, I immediately thought var. smilesii.
