a few good guesses, here is my reply from the CPUK forum with no apologies....
"Aidan, I should have changed the filename even more than I did....yes it is a Sarracenia.
It is a mutation form a minor/flava backcross, with tiny lid and a FOLDED pitcher, very similar to Heliamphora which are regarded as being similar to the first Sarraceniaceae in the evolutionary pathway...hence a "protopitcher", a throwback to an earlier evolutionary stage.
Cephalotus will do the same with greater frequency, with half leaf/half pitchers."
