It Bee Wet

We're not the only ones who don't like it as rainy as at present here in the East Midlands. ( It's ok until all the barrels are full then it's a nuisance). We're finding quite a lot of bees that are being downed by this weather.

This one is recovering on the back on my hand (heat) with the help of a little honey.

It's impossible to identify to species until it dries out. For some reason no-one publishes identification photos of wet ones :p

I see bees have discovered the wonders of hair-gel. XD

Surprised with it being that rainy that the bees are out at all.

I'm surprised it didn't sting you! How did it do?

A Bumble sting? Never known it and I've handled many.

It dried itself and buzzed off.

Wow, nice pics! Poor little sopping wet bee.

Didn't realize that's a bumblebee! Neat!

Yet one more downed Bumble. gave it some honey and it went.

Photo's and videao shot with my little field camera so the video is not exactly HD but I think it's adequate.
