Cocoons are nearly ready to hatch...

I've raised Cecropia silk moth caterpillars once, but a virus came through and squashed them all :( Picked up a pair of cecropia cocoons this time, and they're almost ready to emerge. They wriggle every so often...!

The cocoons, plus photos of 2014's batch of cecropia cats

Hopefully these two females will call in wild suitors and I can get some eggs. Will post more pics when the moths emerge!

How did this not get any replys?

Thats so cool. Moths are awesome, probably one of my top 3 favorite insects.
