The Consuming Flame
Hey everybody,

I've been growing CP's for a little bit now, a few years, and some of you may have seen me on other forums but I figured I'd jump in here and say 'ello 'ello.

-J.P.

'ello! Welcome! What do you grow?

xvart.

My growlist isn't that extensive but it contains:

typical

Drosera
adelae

Nepenthes

2 others that I have no clue and no pitchers to show...

Sarracenia
x Catesbaei

*assorted stow-aways in the various pots*

I'm using 3, 2100 lumen compact fluorescent bulbs in about a 20 gallon fishtank.
Humidity stays about 30-40% and each plant is in its own pot .

I am in the middle of making a Highland terrarium and contructing a greenhouse for my relatively new hobby.

Always looking for more! Nepenthes and Drosera have to be my favorite but I love them all haha

well, Ello to you too! :3

Welcome to TF. There is a grow list section so you probably want to post your grow list there.

As for Drosera arcturi, this is hardly an easy to grow species as it may require highland condition and very cold dormancy. It has a reputation of being as difficult to grow in cultivation as Drosera linearis (well nigh impossible). The giant variety may be more amenable to cultivation as it grows closer to sea level. Ivan Snyder informed me that this variety is soon to be elevated to a separate species.

hey man!!! the plants you sent me are doing great!! welcome!

I'm glad Glider14! The filliformis has already tripled in size... it was like it just decided to grow over night! The adelea and peltata are slowly chugging along too and doing good. Sadly no upward growth on it yet *even though it IS out of season*.

Thanks for all the great welcomes guys!

Ya... I am thinking of removing that one sundew off my list...

at least for now

Thanks guys,
-J.P.
