Hello from Chicago, help me optimize my terrarium!

Hello,

I've been growing CPs for a year or so and just started a terrarium about a month ago. I have 4 4 foot T5HO fluorescents (cool white) and also 2 2 foot T5 fluorescents (soft white) over two tanks containing:

Drosera Multifada Extrema
Drosera Capensis Alba

Nepethens Miranda
Nepenthes Sanguinea

Two Sarracenia x Judith Hindles
Two Sarracenia Alatas

Two VTF King Henry

I live in a neighborhood in Chicago and would love to hear any tips--how warm should my terrarium be and how would I go about doing that?

My alba is about to burst and I'm ready to trade some seeds!

Welcome  The Sarracenia and Dionaea are going to need a dormancy period or they will eventually die.
As for your original question, the Nepenthes and Drosera won't need it any warmer than 70-75*f, or about room temperature.

Here is the current setup:

It looks a little bit dry for a terrarium. Do you have glass/acrylic lids for them? Can you position the lights closer to your plants without making things too hot for your plants?

Are those wine glasses holding up your plants on the left!? Hahaha very classy. This is what growing CP's does to us...We get rid of our glasses and begin to drink right out of the bottle! (or box)

Welcome to TF. D. capensis and D. binata 'Multifida Extrema' do better at a sunny window sill. Neps do fine in a terrarium.

Venus flytraps don't even need terrarium conditions and actually are better off outside of them, and sarracenia can do without also.
