Since my carnivorous plant obsession is growing, I'm happy to find this forum. I've been keeping mostly Drosera and Pinguicula (my favorite), but I have a new-found love for Nepenthes, too. I've never had a green thumb when it comes to other plants, but for whatever reason, I'm doing very well keeping CPs.
I also love geckos (I have two crested geckos and a Hainan cave gecko), tarantulas (I keep eight different species), and mantids (I raise a few Hierodula venosa and majuscula each year). So I'm very familiar with insect-eating critters!
In honor of my recent Nepenthes additions, this is the first one I bought, my N. sanguinea. It's grown incredibly fast in the past few months!
And here is my latest addition:
And, for fun, here's one of my baby mantids.
I'm looking forward to being part of this community and learning more about CPs!
