    Devil's Claw Germination!!!

great! I got +30 pods and Seeds up the kazoo, but I am currently propagating them 'for real' now cause all of my pods were bought from me (minus the seeds). So I wanted to see what these guys could do for me. Plus they keep the birds away from my other plants

campanulata a pain to root - but won't die

Isn't it true that some species won't produce roots sometimes, but live completely normally? I think that it's usually epiphytes though.

    D. intermedia, worry or not to worry?

lately the winters in FL have been ranging from 18 - 90 degrees so I don't think that the Texas winter temps will be inadequate for your D. intermedia

    Is it Possible?

I have just recently received the book Nepenthes of Borneo and I've read a couple of things that just have my mind tied into a knot. It classifies 0-1000 m as lowland and 1001-3000m as highland and surprisingly I found that some 'highland Nepenthes' according to the Author could be grown as...

    Can plants get cancer?

I've been wondering about that as well. although, I don't think that that would happen, because there aren't really any specific vital organs that would be destroyed or killed, and if the stem or leaf is killed there is always the chance that the whole plant will regrow from th base or whatnot...

A dark millenium is ahead - look at this!

Yeah, that does look like we might become a little 'war machine'-like, but I doubt it'll get out of hand. However, if you're really into this kinda stuff you should really read Naomi Wolf's book about how the US is showing all of the signs of a strong country turning into a Fascist country
