Spider Plants

Recently I've aquired an 'all green' spider plant and I was happening to wonder if this plant is some kind of a bromeliad, because it seems to look like some kind of bromeliad.

thanks

Definitely not a bromeliad, its roots are way too developed, and they flower on long stems. I have a bunch, one of 'em which is an all green type, and I have way too many!!! They keep making babies!

spider plant (Chlorophytum comosum) is a native of south africa , but is probaley one of the best known house plants out their. Their popular for their low matience and easy propagation, you just pull off and offset and put into water or soil and it roots very easy, but definaetly not a bromeliad, but like a bromeliad makes a good terranium plant.
