Anyone growing Syngonium rayii?

I got this plant as a freebie from a guy who was cleaning out his vivariums and it's making all sorts of runners with roots but no new leaf rosettes on the runners. Any idea what's going on with it?

Pic of not my plant at the moment:

common for syngonium. sort of an adult vs immature vegetation. Trim the runners root them back in the main pot will produce the rosetted form

Thanks, in just a couple days trimming and replanting it worked! I have a 1" leaf started on a planted runner. I was hoping it would produce the rosettes along the runner and I could use it as a neat climber but I guess not.
