I had a number or Aristolochia species in 2004/2005, A. grandiflora, A. giganteum. A. peruviana, A. maxima and some unidentified Chilean species that scrambled on the ground instead of climbing.
I planted Asarum canadense underneath my short Asiatic Lillies some years ago but I think they have died off now, will have to look again in the spring if they come up again. There are some really great species of Asarum over in China, one who's flowers look like panda bears! LOL
