Water Hawthorn - Aponogeton distachyus

I grow this plant in a bucket and it has it's own resident water snail. Today I had to pull out the snail to scrape algae off its shell.

A very odd looking flower with a wonderful scent.

The pond center I'm working at has them, but I've never seen one in bloom. DEFINITELY getting one next time I'm in!
