carnivorous plants of the world -- unite!
In my pot of Alocasia Poly, this thing has sprung up. Growth has been rather slow -- it first appeared sometime this winter. It has never produced any leaves. Each branch simply bifurcates every so often. I haven't repotted Poly in at least a couple years, so if there was a dormant seed in the media it took its sweet time germinating. Can't imagine from whence the seed may have come otherwise as its an indoor plant.
On another forum, a kind soul suggested it may be Psilotum nudum. Figured it would not be a bad idea to inquire of the "hive mind" here as well -- whether to confirm or supply other options.
