Anytime you are desperate for pics do a google image search for the type of plant you want to see. That should give you a good idea of what they look like.

Yes, a lot of people know a lot of things about Platycerium. What exactly would you like to know about them?

I don't know a thing and my grandfather told me they were really cool. I would like to know a little about them and see some pictures and some care instructions.

There was another site I had bookmarked but can't seem to find it. Fatboy, I believe you posted the site I'm thinking of in the now-defunct Staghorn Fern forum. If you could please repost it...:)

Given decent care, Anthony, stags are virtually indestructible. PFT used to sell them, but unfortunately they ran out. There are lots of places both online and offline where you could obtain one. The most common species in cultivation is P. bifurcatum.
