Crotons

I just met the master of crotons, Dr. Frank Brown, responsible for many hybrids. I bought his book and he signed it. Awww sxxx... now I have to collect crotons.

I am assuming that you are not talking about the things you put in salads, wait, thats croutons, ok, i give, what is a croton?

Crotons is a misnomor. The real name is Codiaeum. It's a plant with colorful leaves... lots of variations. Do a Google image search for pics.

I only grow a few, but my favorite is C. 'Victoria Gold Bell.' Very nice coloration, with bizarre secondary leaves shooting out of the main leaves.

Dyflam, I will look for the that guy's book. The author is listed as 'Frank Brown?' thanks

Chris
