Ceretonia siliqua( a type of bonsai)

Ceretonia siliqua.(A type of Bonsai)
I planted some Ceretonia siliqua seeds.
The instructions said to soak in hot, but not boiling water for 2
minutes.(Which I did) They then said to put them out of direct sunlight, and in a warm place(min.18C) I put it in an airing cupboard. Is this O.K? When will they germinate?
And what do I do when they germinate?
Thank you for any help,
Dino

this is the seed of the carob tree, native of Mediterranean, and seeds used as a chocolate substitute. I have one grown from seed, and keep it outside in full sun during summer (England), bringing into frost-free greenhouse for winter, kept on the dry side. you can choose to bonsai it or nor, I just hard prune mine if it gets too big!

Tahnks gardenfade. Any idea when they will germinate?

They will germinate quite quickly if kept warm enough, within a couple of weeks I would guess

COUPLE OF WEEKS?!!
