I grow a few native US orchids as companions to my CP collection. One (Calopogon barbatus, I believe) just flowered in the greenhouse yesterday.

@monkey: very nice. very few people are capable of bringing their phaels around for a second round of spikes the next season. most just give up. congrats!

Phals require a temp drop to rebloom. Awesome Monkey congrats!! Very nice Jay! Does it grow wet like sarrs?

does anyone know if the bulbs release future spikes after the inital? would have been such a nice display to see multiple spikes on the plant.

I received this Oncidum sharry baby division in the mail (que your Frankie Vallie joke here) I want to say sometime last year. Blooming for the first time. Yay!

This Myrmecpophila tibicinis Scholbmurgkia - ant plant orchid is finally getting some new growth, bright white roots it skulked for quite some time.
