Some Paph hybrid. The flower is light green and white, similar to P. fowliei var. album.

I finally flowered this pretty little thing after growing it from a 1" leaf-span seedling. Took much longer than it should have, but it had been through many rough times.

Aerangis splendida: aren't those the ones that are only pollinated by some kind of hawk moth with a realllllly long proboscius?

Many of the Angreacum have the long spur. *Those are the ones fertilized by the moth you are refuring to with the long proboscius. *The Aerangis has that too so it would be safe to bet they are alot pollinated by something with a long proboscius. *There are many flowers with the long spur. *The spur only has a drop ot nector at the tip to intice the moth to stick its head into thew flower to get to the miniscule nector. *Orchids are so mean to their pollinators! *They don;t give them much to eat or the dupe them into pollinating them with mimicry.

I have a couple in bloom I need to take pictures of and I will post later.

NoID

This is why I am reluctant to ID a hybrid.  These next 4 pictures are of two different plants.  Both are IDed and I am assuming IDed correctly, but they both look just about the same.  The only difference I can detect in the plants is they smell at different times of the day.  These first two pictures are of the same plant then the next two are of the other plant.

Don't let the crappy color in the image fool you.  They are almost identical in color.  Just the size of the purple patch in the lip.  Although that can be influenced with light amounts too.  So believe me when I tell you that once a hybrid becomes a NoID it should remain a NoID.

This is the last and it is a NoID.
