Oncidium trashcaniensis

I found this Oncidium on top of a garbage pile on the side of the street last year. It was completely desiccated and had no living leaves or roots. There was still some green on it so I took it inside, potted it up in lfs and a year later......

Nice rescue!

Wow..nice find and great rescue job

Beautiful plant. It's amazing what people will throw out sometimes.

Very, very nice save!

Thanks guys. It turned out to be a really nice plant.

Nice save! I really like the yellow doll Oncidiums.

Is that what this is ? A "Yellow Doll " ?

Wow! Amazing that the plant could go from being that dead to having the energy to produce that many flowers - what the heck did you feed that thing - plutonium pellets?
