Cypripedium japonicum Companion Plants

I recently bought my first C.japonicum. I'd like to pot it in a fairly large planter with some other native Japanese wildflowers but can find very little information on them. So far I've found some Japanese Trillium and Arisaema sikokianum. I'm also toying with the idea of putting an Athyrium niponicum towards the rear of the planter as well.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for smaller native Japanese woodland or alpine wildflowers (maybe some ground cover or violet type plants) that can be planted alongside these other species ?
