Steve's plants were looking great when I stopped by last week, so I took a few pictures. I don't have any idea which picture corresponds with which plant, but I'm sure Steve will label them soon.

Astonishing, breathtaking, heartstopping beauty.

I bet the population of insects in Bugweed's town has dwindled from a beautiful, ravishing, drowning death.

nice pics

some of those moorei's look very very leucophylla-like, what criteria are you using to determine whether they are one or the other?

My criteria in this case is the person sending them. ID'ed as moorei, I have no doubt that they are what they were sent as. The man who sent them has 40 plus years of experience, and used to collect and bog with another famous CP'er you may have heard of. When either of these gentlemen identify a plant, you can take THAT ID to the BANK!!!!! The men: Hanrahan and Miller. My plant ID'er was Jim Miller. One of the VERY BEST in the business! Though I have not studied the plant for any identifying characteristics, I trust the man's word. It is as good to me, as Mike King's. And I TRUST Mike King.
