Need info on leucophylla

Dimka

Sundewist
Hey there.
I just got my hands on S. leucophylla, and was wondering if maybe you'd have some tips on growing etc.
Im guessing its somewhere around 6 months old maybe (pitchers are 1.5-2 inches).
So if you can be of any assistance, please dont be shy

treat it the same as all the other members of the Sarracenia Genus.

which is? Its my first pitcher so I kinda have no idea...

Soil base: Straight Pure Canadian Sphagnum Peat Moss.
Or 50-50 Peat Moss and Sand.
Peat and Perlite

Water: Distilled
Reverse Osmosis
De-ionized
Rainwater

Place potted plant in a tray or container of water. Always keep it
wet. Never let the plant go totally dry.
Stand back and appreciate your new baby.

sounds pretty hard... I'll do my best

The link dont seem to work, but I found other info elsewhere.
Thanks.
A couple more questions.
I placed it into a terrarium with my dews, under my monster of a light, and it seems to be wilting or something. instead of going up it just goes down, closer to the ground and the pitchers started drying out. I dont think its the water, because it has enough of that. Any suggestions? Could it be dormancy or something? although i've read in several places that they can go without dormancy till they are about 3 years old, and this one is definately not 3.
Please advise.
Thanks

it should be going dormant now. the last thing it needs is a light monster

It's OK to skip the first dormancy. I put Sarr seedlings under fluorescent lights with my smaller orchids and Neps for their first winter. Maybe yours needed a little shading at first to allow it to adjust to brighter light.
