Sarracenia in winter

How much light do Sarracenia need in the winter? I ask because my neighbors tree blocks all but 3 maybe 4 hours worth of light in the winter. I figured since their dormant they probably didn't need much.

They'll be fine in shade throughout the winter, although you have to watch carefully for botrytis which develops more easily when it's dark and there's little air circulation.

One thing good about NOT using the refigerator method for dormancy and instead depending upon a cool garage or attic, by a window is that the plant will naturally come out of dormancy when the photoperiod increases enough to stimulate it.
