S. purpurea

Awhile back I posted a pic of my S. purpurea to find out which form I have. Bugweed thought ssp. venosa var. burkei, but said the flower would tell me more. Well, the plant has flowered and the petals are a pretty deep red. I assume that means ssp. venosa? Just looking for some confirmation.

Yeah, that looks like ssp. venosa. Nice veination to it too.

Yep, ssp. venosa. Nice frilly pitchers.

You never know, it might even be mitchelliana x purpurea just to throw a spanner in the works
