yes, most of the world uses the day/month/year format....
Which is much better than the Month/Day/Year used in the US. I'm still partial to Year/Month/Day, however. Prevents sorting problems and it fits in with the way we do other things- when someone asks you what time it is you say it starting with the largest denomination (hours, then minutes, etc...)
To stay on topic, my ceph over winter put out... maybe two or three small winter leaves and stopped growing. Now that the sun is back it's growing an offshoot and making massive pitchers. Crazy plants...
