CP Irony

Found an aphid wandering across my new S. purpurea. Fed it to my D. capensis. Poetic justice which brought a wicked smile to my face >)

Be careful doing stuff like that. I don't recommend it.

All I can say is I've never seen just one aphid before :( You better be on the look out.

Capensis can also suffer from aphids because they walk below the mucus. Let's hope another aphid didn't pop out of the caught one and made itself onto the plant!

Aphids are the only real pests I have (ok, a few slugs now and again too). Luckily ladybugs are very good at removing aphids.

I had to drwon my affected capensis a couple years ago. Aphids just have a way...
