oh that's an old pitcher of my S. judith hindle I kinda trimmed off the dead pitchers funny but it has new growth.

Notice the triangular shape of the hood. A classic way to tell a flava x purpurea, as opposed to an alata x purpurea or a rubra x purpurea.
